Summer Camp

VAA Summer Camp is now complete for summer 2022! See you next year!

Virginia Academy is launching a new four week summer camp program! Each week elementary school students can sign up for a different enrichment experience.

What is the camp experience?

Summer Camp drop off will be at Virginia Academy beginning at 8am and pick up will be 4-4:30pm. The first portion of the day will be completely devoted to the camp’s theme, whether it be basketball, art, STEM, or any of the other awesome experiences we have to offer!

Following lunch, your student will find a more traditional summer camp experience!  Group games, activities, carnivals, and amazing trips are just some of the things that are coming their way!  Each camp will go on at least three field trips during the week; we might visit the pool, a climbing park, a museum, or local national park. Something that is extremely important at our Church is Time with God! Our mission here at VAA is to prepare students for their best life, which we believe is founded in a relationship with Jesus Christ! This mission is the same for VAA Summer Camps. Your child will participate in daily devotionals that are themed for each week of camp. They will cover some of the most influential people of the Bible and some important lessons that will be reinforced throughout the school year at VAA! On Friday Mornings, your student will partake in a VAA Chapel experience! Worship, prizes, guest speakers, and fun demonstrations will get your student excited to learn about God!

Field Trips Each week, campers will have the opportunity to adventure off campus! We will be visiting the pool, museums, and other local attractions. Check out the Weekly Trip Schedule to see the full field trip schedule. In order to prepare accordingly, we encourage you to check our Backpack Checklist! A few things to keep in mind: -One-piece bathing suits and swim short are permitted (no bikinis, speedos, tankinis) -Pool towel -Additional spending money for field trips
At the conclusion of the camp day, all students and counselors will gather in the FE Pit to go over the devotional lesson of the day and conduct the memory verse challenge! Students and counselors will then move into the Upper Lobby for dismissal.
