Students 7th grade and younger can sharpen their skills, build confidence and enjoy the sport they love in the incredible facilities at our campus in Ashburn, Virginia! Registration is open to students based on their current grade level for the 2024-2025 grade year.

Volleyball Camp – Girls June 16 – 18

Grades: 4 – 7

Cost:  $150

Time: 8am – Noon Drop-off no earlier than 7:45am / Pick-up at noon

Led by a Virginia Academy’s Head Varsity Coach, Maggie O’Connor, players will receive expert guidance in all aspects of the game—from serving and passing to setting and attacking. Soccer Camp – Boys & Girls June 23 – 27

Grades:  K – 7

Cost:  $375

Time:  8am – 3pm Drop-off no earlier than 7:45am / Pick-up at 3pm

Items to Bring:  Soccer ball, cleats, shin guards, water bottle, and sack lunch

Get ready to kick off an unforgettable week of soccer development and fun! Open to boys and girls in grades kindergarten to 7th grade, this camp is perfect for young players who want to boost their game, build confidence on the field, and get ready for future tryouts and competition. Led by Virginia Academy’s Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach, Brian Galvin, campers will receive top-tier instruction in essential skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive tactics. With a focus on solid fundamentals, smart game play, and teamwork, this camp will help every player grow in both skill and passion for the sport. Lacrosse Camp – Boys July 2, 9, 16, 23 (Wednesdays)

Grades: 3 – 7

Cost: $50/session or $180 for all four sessions

Time: 9am – Noon Drop-off no earlier than 8:45am / Pick-up at noon

Sharpen you skills at our clinic-style lacrosse camp over four dynamic sessions held once a week on Wednesday mornings—perfect for building skills while still enjoying your summer break! Led by Virginia Academy’s Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach, Drew Mills, this camp focuses on elevating individual skills, mastering positional techniques, and understanding key team concepts. With top-notch coaching, players will train in an engaging, supportive environment that encourages growth, hustle, and a love for the game. Whether you’re new to lacrosse or looking to refine your technique, this camp will help you level up your game and make great memories along the way.

Calling all future cheerleaders! Join us for a fun-filled cheer camp designed to build confidence, coordination, and school spirit. Led by Virginia Academy’s Head Cheer Coach, Erica McRae, this camp will introduce young girls to the basics of cheerleading—including motions, jumps, chants, and simple routines—in a supportive and exciting environment. With a mix of high-energy activities, teamwork, and lots of smiles, this camp is the perfect place for beginners to learn the fundamentals and experience the joy of cheer. Ready to take your basketball skills to the next level? Join us this summer for an exciting and competitive boys basketball camp led by Virginia Academy’s Head Varsity Coach, Tau Hamilton. Open to players who want to grow their game, this camp is all about sharpening fundamentals, building court awareness, and developing a strong team mindset. Coach Hamilton brings a wealth of experience and energy to the court, offering strong instruction in shooting, ball-handling, defense, and game strategy. Athletes will train in a high-energy environment that encourages hustle, leadership, and growth—both on and off the court. If you’re aiming to improve your all-around game, this camp is for you!


Necessary Documents

I signed up for a VAA Sports Camp! Now what?

When you arrive on the first day of camp, you will need to fill out the following paperwork: Liability and Consent Form and Camper Information Form. Before camp starts, you will also need to fill out the Allergy Action Plan Form, Asthma Action Plan, and Medical Authorization Form.

If your child will need an inhaler, epipen, or any other medication while attending sports camp, please complete the correct form above and email it to nurse@virginia-academy.com. The medication must be in its original packaging with a prescription label attached and delivered to the nurse on the first day of camp.  If the proper forms are not completed, your child will not be permitted to attend VAA Camps.

Virginia Academy will also need a copy of your camper’s immunization record.  Please email it to nurse@virginia-academy.com. If your camper is a current Virginia Academy student, the nurse already has this form, and there is no need to resubmit. Your child will not be permitted to attend VAA Camps without a copy of immunization records.
